A Writer’s Date Night

A Writer’s Date Night

Artist unknown (although it might be Alice Kirkpatrick.) ALL ROMANCES #2, 1949.

I know this is obvious, but in the original art, those strange, shadowy images on the woman’s arm and face aren’t tattoos. They’re images from the other side of the page that bled through when the cover was scanned. On the other hand, if you’re into tattoos…then they’re tattoos!

Transcript:

SCENE: A red-headed woman has her arms around a young man and is staring at him with adoration.

WOMAN: My main character is a writer who can’t get laid! Until one special night…very much like this one!

1949 Artist Unknown (although it might be Alice Kirkpatrick.) Re-Creation: Diego Jourdan Pereira
