Mom looks like she “must’ve been something before electricity.” (Thanks Caddyshack).
I wonder what Carl would have made of her?
He’d probably think of her as, “not too far in between.”
Way back in the old 20th century, a woman that owned a bar* in Pattaya, Thailand took a liking to my buddy. She was so-so in the looks department, and older than either of us. (We were in our early 20’s, so “old” equaled >26) He kept turning her down, the fool. I kept telling him you know how she probably earned the money to buy a bar, and she wants to do that to you for free. You moron. Well, he never did, but she knew who was on her side. So guess who didn’t pay for anything for about a week in Thailand?
Yeah, THIS GUY!!!
The point is: old ladies with dirty minds know stuff. And if they want to show you what they know, YOU AGREE!!!!
*if you haven’t been there, you can buy alcohol or some alone time with the bartenders.
Great story, Rex. Thanks for sharing!
