Tony’s original version made it clear that the two women are Eric and Don, Jr. with sex changes. That version was heavy on dialogue and frankly a little convoluted and confusing. So, Tony sent me a second version that was simpler.
Tony thought most readers would figure out who the characters are and that they’d had a sex change. And it seems he was right!
I think one of them is Tiffany.
1962 — an era when people would dress up to board an airliner. Not sure 45’s spawn would be happy with a new identity that required them to serve others.
I can’t imagine any of them happy (or employable) in a service industry job. Too spoiled to serve.
