Is that “Hearts Aflame” or is it a manual for the University Greek Houses “Farts Aflame”?
I was thinking along similar lines. What man would buy a book named “Hearts Aflame?” And we can’t blame it on Amazon in 1948.
Maybe “Hearts Aflame” is a BBQ book with flaming hot recipes. Extra hot peppers equals manly—of course.
In the original, there’s a pile of green paper in her lap. In the new version, there’s a suggestion why she had a pile of greenbacks there, but it looks like she now gets large checks.
Clearly, large checks are a girl’s best friend.
