SCENE: Abby Amour and Johnny Sacko are in a nightclub in this dream sequence. They are dancing. Other people are dancing around them and watching.

JOHNNY: I’m at the swankiest club in town with a babe whose dress looks like body paint.
JOHNNY: Since you’re picking up the bill tonight...
JOHNNY: ...we should get a bottle of champagne! ABBY (thought): I guess I know what’s in his wallet!

Is she just thinking about the Colonel’s retirement pay?
What an unpleasant woman
In the original 1953 romance story, the Colonel is quite well off and I think it’s fair to say that this young lady finds that a big plus!
Still working on something connecting a big bottle of champagne, his empty wallet, and his pants….
