Is it a good idea to insult her cooking before you get her into bed?
I think not. But it’s wisdom that’s only come through years of marriage!

“I love my marshmallows burned to a crisp. I pretend their sales clerks or waitresses who dare to look me in the eye. Marshmallows should know their place…if they know what’s good for them.”

“But I sure hope you cook better than that.”
“Well I was sure hoping you’d fill out those swim trunks better than that. Guess we’re both having a heaping helping of disappointment with these marshmallows, ain’t we?”

When Doves Whine
Great comments, jams! In regard to Tammy Faye and Jim Baker, I finally saw the movie based on their lives–The Eyes of Tammy Faye. It was surprising good. Even somewhat moving. Given the subject matter (and the sleaze factor), I was shocked!
Dude: better make it ABSOLUTELY clear when you ask for a burnt wiener.
Really, guy? You’re looking at her in that swimsuit and all you can think of is “but can she cook, tho”?
With a shout out to Jimmy Soul and his great song “If you wanna to be happy for the rest of your life…”
One verse in particular is:
Say man! Hey baby!
I saw your wife the other day!
Yeah? Yeah, an’ she’s ugly!
Yeah, she’s ugly, but she sure can cook, baby!
Yeah, alright!
