Civilization? No Thanks!

Civilization? No Thanks!

Apparently, my inner John Wayne persona isn’t through writing Western gags. Coming this Friday, I’ll be giving you the Last Kiss version of the shootout at the OK Corral—sorta!

Listen up, ya lily-livered dude. This was originally published in Cowgirl Romances #2, 1950. Artist unknown.

Labor Day with Hercules

Labor Day with Hercules

I helped shape today’s gag, but the majority of the credit has to go to my pal Mike Pascale. First Mike came up with the brilliantly outlandish idea of linking the 12 labors of Hercules to Labor Day.  Then, after he and I batted the dialogue back and forth, he revamped the art.

Mike has made it his mission to come up with as many bizarre Last Kiss holiday gags as possible. Frankly, I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.
