Some people will be upset that I’m bringing politics into Last Kiss. But I actually wrote this comic and published it first at least a dozen years ago. The only change is that I now label the politician as an “incumbent.”
You can interpret that any way you want.
Oh, screw that. I think Donald Trump is a liar and a monster. Vote Biden.
Yay! Okay, that’s pretty much all I have to say.I just finished a bunch of political rants on Facebook, so let’s keep it short and sweet. 😉
Yes! Yes yes yes yes!!!! That could be taken as either agreement _or_ an orgasm! Okay, _or_ both at once! B^D
And I’m glad for both, Gale. Of course, giving you an (intellectual) orgasm is always my goal. 🙂
A rare extra Last Kiss is always welcome.
Can’t watch television these days for all the half (or less) truths passed off as whole truths. Our national nightmare of political commercials, and 24/7 coverage of the presidential race will be over soon.
A Biden victory will bring about (perhaps) the scariest 10 weeks in my lifetime.
I think there’s going to be a lotta gnashing of teeth and civil unrest no matter who wins. But, yes, a Biden victory—as much as I pray for it—has the promise of launching an unprecedentedly uncertain and dangerous 10 weeks.
Trump? Biden? When I read it I thought it was about the local guy running for Dog Catcher.
Actually, when I created it 12 years ago, I didn’t have any particular politician in mind. It does seem oddly relevant now, though.
And creepy Joe doesn’t lie?
Let’s put Trump’s lies against Biden’s lies.
Let’s compare Joe’s half-CENTURY of no accomplishments to the last four years. And Kamala Harris is a disaster. Most Californians don’t even want her as VP. The ones who do, are just rooting for her because she’ll no longer be a California politician, and figure she can do less damage as VP.
Well, I suppose you are allowed your opinion, and you can vote for whomever you choose. Myself, I don’t care for the antics but I care about the results, and I’m voting for Pres. Trump.
It’s easy to castigate people when they don’t agree with you—especially these days. So I really appreciate your calm, gracious comment, Brian. I truly hope we can all come together as a nation after this election.
I already turned in my ballot so I am pretty much trying to ignore the election until they start posting results. I might watch the first hour of the debate tonight, but after that I am switching to Supernatural.
I’ve already voted as well. I’ve got mixed feelings about the debate. I may just watch the highlights and lowlights later.
Rudolf, I was able to watch both, but I’m glad you didn’t miss SPN (I wouldn’t have). Definitely the better choice! #SPNFam
Just an open letter to all the Trump-Biden supporters. You should all stop trying to find “reasons” to back up your favorite candidate and face reality. For several elections now we have had nothing but “the lesser of two evils” to choose from – and then our choice (good or bad) is ignored by the Electoral College in favor of THEIR choice.
My personal suggestion to all is to find every candidate for every office that is incumbent (Dem or Rep) and vote them out. When a system fails over-and-over again it is time to start over with fresh faces and hope we do better next time.
