Side note: One of the three good fairies aiding Princess Aurora in DIsney’s Sleeping Beauty was named Flora. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.

So aggravating to ‘release some bubbles’ while taking a bath and have it come up the front. Damn lip-flappers!
My father used to tell a joke about a man bathing in a hotel bathtub while ordering room service. Later a bellhop appears with a bottle of beer on a tray. (Gotta flap your lips on the punchline)
I don’t remember asking for beer.
“That’s what you said. ‘Bring me a bottle of Budweiser.'”
The more I look at this picture, the more surprised I am that it got past the 1950-era censors.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad about it…
