With Black Lightning creator Tony Isabella guest writing Last Kiss (about once a week) I’ve been able to get ahead a bit on my schedule. But the biggest delight of working with Tony is seeing what he comes up with. I’ll admit, this is one of my favorites!

Art by Vince Colletta Studio from the story “Girl Meets Boy!” in FIRST KISS #11, Nov. 1959.
Transcript:
SCENE: Young woman in bed looking at a book.
CAPTION: Henrietta sobbed softly. Another lonely weekend staring at the blank
pages of her diary. Lost in heartache, she didn’t see the portal open. Adventure
and romance await!

Art by Vince Colletta Studio from the story “Jealousy” in First Kiss #14, 1960.

Curious about the story this art comes from? You can read the entire—extremely odd—story and the rest of the vintage comic book here on the free comics site, ComicBookPlus.com.
