Today’s comic features a gag by my friend Jennifer M. Contino. For many years, Jen was a comics journalist (Entertainment Weekly, Wizard, Sequential Tart and others.)
These days, she’s the self-pronounced “Queen of Christmas comics.” (Even Santa doesn’t have a Christmas comic book collection as big as hers!)
Tomorrow, we’ll have another Felina Vie Christmas comic written by me. And the following day (Saturday), Jen will be back with a new Christmas-themed Last Kiss gag.

I’m delighted to have another Felina Vie photo in Last Kiss. My thanks to both Felina as well as photographer Allen Freeman for letting me use it.
And I’m happy to say we’ll have another Felina photo by Allen two days from now.
Postscript: This wasn’t planned, but I just learned that today (Dec. 19) is Felina’s birthday. Feel free to say Happy Birthday. I’ll make sure Felina sees this.

My thanks to mischievous Mike Pascal for the great gag. And for the art my gratitude and kudos go to Allen Freeman.
Allen was the first artist I ever hired to color Last Kiss. And this sexy pinup was one of the rare times Allen drew something completely new for me instead of just coloring or re-inking a pre-existing comic. I’ve used the art (with different gags) several times over the years. And expect I’ll use it again in the future. For some reason, it’s been very popular with readers.
