Here’s the latest installment of holiday hilarity from the brilliant Mike Pascale!
Every Christmas (and quite a few other holidays), Mike comes up with new takes on my old romance art.
Before he revamps the art, Mike usually pitches gags to me. Sometimes I fine tune the dialog a bit, but the gags are Mike’s. And I love ’em!

My favorite holiday tradition?
It could tell you that it’s when my wife wears a Santa hat (other clothing optional) and belly dances to the tune of “Santa Baby” under the mistletoe in my office.
But I’d be lying because…hey, that hasn’t happened—yet. (Shelagh, there’s still time.)
But it you want something that’s actually based in reality…
Then one of my favorite holiday traditions is when Mike Pascale takes my old romance art and transforms it into zanny Christmas-themed gags. Today’s comic is the first of three 2012 Christmas comics from Mike.
Next up? A Christmas gag that’s been 5,125 years in the making!

Oh, sure. Fox and the rest of the elite (“We have facts—sort of!) media talk a lot about the “War on Christmas!”
But what they don’t tell you is that the real war on St. Nick (and therefore Jesus—because they’re close buddies—isn’t being waged by liberals. It’s guys in tights and capes—or worse.
(Sure, they dress like liberals and they want to take away your guns. But that’s only because they’re evil. Not liberal!)
They’re super villains—and they’re out to get Santa and steal all your presents…

I’ve run this art before with different dialog. But Allen Freeman did such a fantastic job on this, I couldn’t resist running it again this year.
