Wow! Art from the two greatest inkers of Jack Kirby’s work! I only knew Joe drew in his earlier years because of his obituary in Marvel Comics over the last month. I loved his inking! Vince added a more subtle and realistic edge to Kirby’s work. Made it less busy. R.I.P. these two talented artists.
There’s a book coming out late this year/early next about Vinnie by his son, Franklin (Frankie.) (With tons of illustrations.) I’ll try to remember to post a link to it when it’s published. I may be interviewing Frankie about it. Stay toned!
You’re going to run scary comics through the end of the year?
Not all. But most will have some sort of Halloween theme. I wouldn’t call ’em all scary, though.
