His hair completely turns me off

No, that is definitely hair spray or mousse. Brylcreme is too 50s and did not become a helmet.
On the plus side, I understand that his hair is impervious to both wind and bullets.
At first glance (revised) they look like fraternal twin tag team televangelists.
The 70’s styles. Both gone and, hopefully, forgotten.
