I think the blind man who picked out Liz’s dress also did her make up.
She looks like a transvestite trying to imitate one of those booties they slip over the ends of bones sticking up out of a rack of lamb.
She’s less Lucky Liz and more Fashion Disaster Felicia.
The worst part is, all the other clowns made her get out of the clown car last so she wouldn’t make them look bad.
On a more important note, if I send in the corner of the comic, what prize out of the jackpot will I win?
Also, I think this is Tony’s best comic yet. Great joke.
Bootie for rack of lamb… HA! I like your name of bootie much better than ‘frill’ or ‘crown’. I thought there’d be some esoteric French name for the paper bit. Not that I could find.
I remember the “sack dress”. It was proof that while an attractive woman could look good wearing anything but some things not so much.
The thing about the “sack” dresses is you had to wonder (or at least I did) what’s really beneath that sack.
Too much of a workout for my imagination. Give me SOMETHING to work with!
I agree about the gag. I love it. In fact—and I don’t say this often—it’d make a terrific t-shirt or magnet image.
What prize would you win out of the jackpot? A Last Kiss Know Prize, of course. (Because you know you’re not going to get anything real, right?)
Great comments—as always, jams.
Remember the sack dress. Which reminded my of an old I Love Lucy episode. They are in Paris. Lucy uses a burlap bag and horse feed bag to make a “high fashion ensemble.” Which catches on at a couturier house.
Oh, man. I’m having flashbacks. I haven’t seen that episode since I was a kid!
Geez! Are they making out or eating soup?
