Flies… Always brings to mind the old punch line:
I’m not calling you anything, but you can’t fool those flies!
The proper response to that is that, “There are no flies on me. I took a bath–just last year.”
I wonder what takes longer: re-doing all the art and dialogue or thinking up the name for the link?
I admit, I re-wrote that particular title several times before it sounded right. Sometimes that happens–and it drives me nuts to when I’m really struggling. Most of the time, though, I come up with something at least serviceable pretty quickly.
No doubt my years as a newspaper reporter/editor/columnist help. I wrote a lot of headlines in my time!
