Well, normally yes. But since this is a comic and there’s such an established “Catwoman” in the genre, it seemed natural for my character to be a”cat woman.”

Thank you, Dave. My wife and I met Julie Newmar back in 2010 at a very slow and comic convention. So there was lots of time to talk with her and a number of other celebrities. Totally delightful woman!

I assume you’re asking because she sometimes wore a black, leather suit. Or is there another association that I’m missing?
I think most Americans never saw The Avengers until Diana Rigg was on the show.
A lot of Americans saw Honor Blackman in “Goldfinger.”
And in the UK that role earned her the name of “The Catwoman of the Empire.”

Re my comment and your reply on GoComics.com regarding the Comic-Con 2022 Souvenir Book in PDF format – I looked over their sire and it looks like they intend to have it available in an Archive section, but it looks like that part is “under construction” since they don’t actually provide a link to it. Your reply there mentioned, “Later today, I should have some time and I’ll see if I can find a link that is still good for it. If I can’t, I can send you a copy of the PDF. Make a comment on my website and that’ll allow me to contact you and send you a link without GoComics’ restrictions.” If you found a link, great! I can’t find a working link to download the book from the con’s site. But I’ve placed a PDF of the book in one of my Dropbox folders. You can download that. (It’ll be faster and easier than trying to send a 70 MB file by e-mail.)
