I’m reminded of a horror story passage in Niven/Pournelle’s INFERNO where a rich collector of valuable SF stored them in a leaky barn.
Side note: INFERNO is in my top 10 of all time great SF books.
Dave, I shudder to think how I used to store some of my comics—notably in a separate garage that was of questionable structural integrity. Fortunately, no leaks and no apparent damage was done!
999 times out of 1,000, that *gulp* isn’t a good thing. But that 1 in 1,000…. KEEPER!!

I’ll bet he has some great lines trying to get to first base, second base, etc.
He would. But he’s still trying to find out where the bases are and how to reach them.
