   And, as Empress:

   She lifted up her hand and from the ring that she wore there issued a great light that illuminated her alone and left all else dark. She stood before Frodo seeming now tall beyond measurement, and beautiful beyond enduring, terrible and worshipful.

   Should have added that I don’t think she would have refused the ring and refused to become bitch empress.

   Knew a guy who served on a desert island while in the Coast Guard. They are not nice places.

   A tropical island with a decent amount of modern amenities… Now you’re talking.

     Soooo, basically a tropical island with a score of half-naked island beauties breathing heavily for your body…

   Problem with desert islands is the lack of decent hardware stores. Just can’t find 3/8″ stainless hardware ANYwhere, unless the right container ship hits the reef, and then it’s 56,000 2.5″ bolts and no nuts.
   Back to making do with bamboo and vines…

   P.S. could someone ship a small medical clinic?
