My mother used to read these comics in the 50’s. She read one I had acquired in about 2007. She told me that she couldn’t believe she read this crap.
They can seem quaint in retrospect, Tom. And many were crap. (But then you could say the same about most offerings in most genres.) Fortunately, there were some decent and even some very good ones.
And once she eats my brains I can be a loyal fan of *insert team that you hate*
