CONFESSION:
I can’t take credit for today’s St. Patrick’s Day comic.
The gag as well as the amazing modifications to the 1959 art (see original version below) sprang from the nimble mind and fingers of my pal Mike Pascale. I just had the good sense to say, “That’s brilliant! Go for it, Mike!”
Thanks, Mike!
However, I will happily take credit for one thing.
This St. Pat’s Day is my 32nd wedding anniversary. Okay, I also have to give a wee bit of credit to Shelagh for taking the matrimonial plunge with me and putting up with me all these years. (Frankly, even I didn’t feel like putting up with me sometimes during those 32 years.) So…
Thanks, Shelagh!

Transgender transformation, a safe place for leprechaun reproach, and the pulling of a couple from the woodwork into full-blown characters … and all within the same space as the original. Great work!
