This is the second half of our two-day celebration of the day (Jan. 19, 2009) Last Kiss launched on GoComics. (Read Part 1 here!)
To celebrate the event, the nice folks at GoComics interviewed me and created a special collection of some of my favorite Last Kisses.
Again, many thanks for all the congrats and kind thoughts I’ve received!

Gotta protect them “bullets”
Indeed, until the vests arrive, I’m protecting the women with my body.
Cannot get enough. How ’bout a
Sunday strip.
I’d love to add another day of Last Kiss, Phil. And maybe I will someday—if I can just find a way to get more hours in the day.
Congratulations John. I have enjoyed the past 10 years of Last Kiss. And i’m Looking forward to 10 more years of fun.
Thanks, Ronnie!
This strip and blog are just a treasure trove of wit, obscure art, information, and great commentary both at GoComics and here on the blog. What a relief from the mundane 3/4 panel strips and from (most of) the one panels. Thanks for all your efforts to keep us titillated (love that word for a variety of reasons).
Never heard of Torchy but this panel is great. Looks like the woman on the right has recently applied a small torch to one of those ‘Anti-God Cigarettes’ sold legally now in several states. She needs to “Take a moment with Murine”.
Thanks so much, Dave. As for Torchy (she’s the blonde), from time to time I’ll be featuring her in future Last Kisses. She was created (and drawn for most of her comics) by the great Bill Ward—the poster boy for Good Girl Artists.
OOPS, woman on the left. A condition we used to call “Chinese Eyed”.
Congratulations, John.
It’s also good to see the rumors I started have been spreading.
Thanks, Rudolf! I’m sure the (good) rumors about you are all true!
