Here’s a story synopsis of the original art’s story “Heartbreaker” via the good folks at ComicBookPlus.com:
Jill is the “campus queen,” who flirts with boys and breaks their hearts. She becomes interested in new student Ron and thinks she’s found true love at last. However, Ron says he’s taking someone else to the prom, and now Jill has “learned my lesson…the hard way!”

“I’ll try to come right to the point.”
“What is it Ron?”
“I don’t love you Jill. I love my right hand. If you look down at my lap right now, you can see just how much I love it.”

“What is it Ron?”
“My therapist says our relationship is toxic. That I should stop sleeping with you and start sleeping with him.
“He’s my therapist Jill. I have to trust him if I want to get better.”

“What is it Ron?”
“Well I was making a sexual reference. “Come”? “The Point”? Get it?
“Never mind Jill. I swear. It’s like you were never in eighth grade.”

“What is it Ron?”
“I’m much, much sexier than you are. We walk into a room together. People see me and they think Brad Pitt. They see you and they think Gilbert Godfrey.
“I have to pass my sexy genes on by making a baby with someone who’s at least at the Jennifer Aniston level Jill. I owe it to our species to dump you and get with someone better looking.”

“It’s!…”
And the credits for Monty Python’s Flying Circus begin to roll.
These are brilliant, Jams. Some of your best. The first two made me LOL–for real!
No wonder we were all insecure in high school, if the other guys looked like movie stars.
Thank Heavens you are still up! In this corner of Spain GoComics, Far Side, Dilbert, Doonesbury, and others have all disappeared. Do you have a donations page?
Peter, first of all, thank you so much for the offer. I don’t have a donations page–although I should. Last Kiss could definitely use more funds. I am thinking about setting up a Patreon page. But that’s quite a ways off. So, in the meantime, I’ll look into the best way to do a donation’s page. I’ll definitely let you know. Thank you again!
As for GoComics being down, I’ll have to admit that it’s both surprising and distressing to me. It’s been down since Friday evening–at least. Hopefully it’ll be back soon. I know a revamp of the site was planned. Maybe something went wrong during that!!!
Thank you. You have my address. Peter.
