One Valentine’s Day back in the early 80’s, I gave my wife a little wind-up walking heart, and a card in which I wrote a similar message: “I have a heart on for you!”
The girl in today’s strip looks a lot like Annette Funicello, in my opinion.
I was going to make the Funicello remark, as well. Since he’s breaking the engagement, she keeps the ring.
The old is certainly an appropriate Val day episode.
He doesn’t have a big heart on, he’s just a big dick!
