I’ve seen some white fog already!! No, wait…. that’s smoke.
Wonderboy looks like Ronald Reagan being the comic relief.
Had to look several times to see that Buddy is not a ventriloquist dummy.

Happy 4th everyone! Also, damn, that kid looks unhinged….
The kid’s head– particularly the eyes really freaked me out, and the kid looking over my shoulder wants to know why you cut one of the kid’s fingers off in your update so he looked like he had three fingers.
Good question, HW. If memory serves me right, it was because I was working from a scan of the printed comic book and the cover was damaged on the far right of the cover. It was much easier to crop the image (slightly) than to repair it in Photoshop. In retrospect, though, I guess it does look a little odd.
Because the kid is a patriotic ‘Murican and got a little overenthusiastic last 4th of July!!
