SCENE: Human skeletons and giant eggs are at the bottom of a rocky cliff. A man is falling from the cliff and on the ledge of the cliff we can see the silhouette of a giant rabbit.
CAPTION: After Easter, have you ever wondered...where the Easter Bunny goes? Some say he has a hidden lair filled with giant, magical eggs that grant wishes! Impossible? Perhaps. But this much we know. Many have searched for the Bunny’s Lair. But none have ever returned--alive!

Monty Python – Holy Grail – Killer Rabbit
My first thought as well.
“Run away! Run away!”
Fetch the Holy Hand Grenade!!
Alas, the Holy Hand Grenade is a bust. It’s in for repairs.
Wow… dark. So very, very dark.
Also funny.
Plus, it’s Tax Day, so…..
Thanks, Rex. I’ll admit I originally was planning to do a Tax Day joke, but the deadline has been extended. A killer rabbit joke seemed like an appropriate replacement.
Good point. But Tax Day is still a dark day.
Not my idea, but I heartily endorse it: should also be election day. Mail in your ballots with your tax forms!
As much as I like this idea, I don’t think it’d work since you’re mailing your ballot in to your state (or in some elections your county or even your city) and your IRS forms to the feds.
But I do think both days should be national holidays—to give people more time to get the tasks done and to recover!
All good points. But…. It’s more a commentary on how people might think differently about their elected officials if they had to pick them at the same time as they paid their taxes.
Quick, feed Sir Robin the chicken-hearted’s minstrels and Tim the Sorcerer to the unholy rabbit with the great big…teeth! (Sorry if I’m a little off with this, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen “Holy Grail”).
In case anyone here is interested, IT’S ALIVE! is reprinting the KONA comic book series one issue at a time. Here is a link to the IndieGoGo campaign to publish the second issue. First issue available there as well. Link: https://igg.me/at/kona2/x/19831020#/
Drew, I’m interested and I just backed it!
