So basically Taggert never gave her the time of day because she smelled like the farm machinery they sold? And yes, they sold used equipment.
Makes sense to me. That farm equipment—especially the second-hand outhouse—do have a certain air of authenticity!
Sure hope the surgery works, to repair her shoulder!
Perhaps she’s been patting herself on the back a bit too much.
