“Plus you look mighty cute in those jeans.”
I have to admit I like the line “Too close to the corner and too far from the curb”. It sounds like some old adage like “Needs must when the Devil drives” or “Sin in haste, repent at leisure”. I’m going to have to try using it in conversation and see what people think it means.
