I’ll admit that I struggled a bit with the guy’s dialogue. Should he be talking about returning an engagement ring? A new car? A jumbo box of chocolate truffles molded in her likeness?

Christmas wishes by Steve Martin on SNL come to mind. “All encompassing power over every living being in the entire universe.” “30 million dollars every month…”… Oh, and that kids thing…
Those are big Christmas, outlandish wishes, Dave. If I was going to make one, I’d ask for peace of mind and good health to everyone—or at least all my friends and family. Include yourself among them, Dave.
And all he wants is a piece.
Maybe. Sometimes, that’s enough. It’s more fun in the long run, though, with some romance.
