What is “The Country Club Type” of woman? Well, it’s a woman—-no, a lady!—who has an abundance of class. (And cash.)
She may live in the City, but she’s at home in the Country. Any Country. Especially ones with valet service.
Meanwhile, back in the present…
See the revamped version of this art and with new, funny dialogue in today’s Last Kiss Comic.
So, if she is not going to walk into the office as a “country club type,” how is she going to walk into the office? As they say in the Bible, as a “harlot by the wayside?” Can she compete with Dad’s secretary (since it was 1958, after all)? It looks like she is not walking in as a pheasant or peasant.
No comic today would use a five cent word like “aghast”.
Dave, really? My new goal is to come up with a gag that features “aghast” in the dialogue or at least the title!
